University of Nebraska Foundation employees celebrate the organization’s receipt of the 2022 Don Clifton Strengths-Based Culture Award.

The University of Nebraska Foundation has received the 2022 Don Clifton Strengths-Based Culture Award (SBCA). The award recognizes organizations with workplace cultures that put the strengths of leaders, managers and employees at the core of how they work every day.

After another year of unpredictability in the workplace, Gallup found that the University of Nebraska Foundation continued to drive performance by helping employees focus on what they do best, maximizing the potential within teams, and integrating strengths-based development into their mission, vision and values.

“The University of Nebraska Foundation is proud of our efforts to support strengths at our organization,” said Brian Hastings, president and CEO of the University of Nebraska Foundation. “The foundation was selected for this honor for our dedication to leveraging strengths to build teams; to support a more inclusive work environment; and to transform engagement, performance and culture.”

Gallup is pleased to recognize the University of Nebraska Foundation with this strengths-based culture award, said Gallup Senior Education Consultant Liz Kuncl.

“The intentional-culture work being championed across all levels of the University of Nebraska Foundation has been so impressive and impactful,” Kuncl said. “Its engagement journey over the past several years has never faltered, even in the midst of a global pandemic and all of the challenges that came with it.”
