Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving when individuals have the power to give back to organizations and communities that are meaningful to them.
Giving Tuesday and #GivingTuesday was formed in 2012 with a goal of inspiring people to support the causes in which they believe.
This year, Giving Tuesday is November 27, 2018, intentionally following Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Here are starting points that may help you locate a rewarding giving option:
Huskers Helping Huskers Pantry+ — a vital campus program which provides assistance to students in need throughout the year.
Lambert Fund for UNL Counseling and Psychological Services — a gift to this fund enables UNL Counseling and Psychological Services to assist students who might otherwise be unable to receive counseling due to financial need.
N Funds — various N Funds to choose from help make giving easy and effective to a campus cause that matters to you.
Begin your own search to support a fund that best matches your university interest.
Have you made your gift? Please consider using #GivingTuesday to share with family and friends why philanthropy is important to you.
