The mission of the College of Nursing is to improve the health and quality of life of individuals, families and communities in Nebraska and beyond through leadership in learning, research, community and clinical services. For more than 80 years, the College of Nursing has provided affordable, accessible nursing education. College of Nursing Innovation Fund

Gifts to this fund allow the college to implement its mission to transform lives through premier nursing education, innovative research, the highest quality health care, and promotion of health equity.

College of Nursing Scholarship Fund

Gifts to this fund provide much-needed scholarships to students in the College of Nursing. Scholarships may be awarded at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and to students studying at any of the College of Nursing’s five campuses.

Nightingale White Coat Ceremony Fund

A gift to this fund provides sponsorship of a white coat for nursing students at the college’s annual White Coat Ceremony.

Liz Potter

A Nebraska native, Liz joined the foundation in 2021. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s in agricultural leadership, education and communication and a master’s in public administration. Liz is strongly community-minded, and her experiences in the nonprofit sector have solidified her desire to give back and make a difference for others. Helping raise support for the College of Nursing is truly fulfilling for her because she values the work nurses do and the statewide impact of the college through its five campuses spread across Nebraska.
