UNK Fund – College of Education Area of Greatest Need
A gift to this unrestricted fund enables the college to take advantage of special opportunities as they arise or lend a hand where students and faculty need it most.
The University of Nebraska at Kearney’s College of Education has a rich tradition that began in 1905, when UNK was established first as the Nebraska State Normal School at Kearney.
The vision for UNK’s College of Education is to be nationally recognized for exemplary academic programs, highly qualified faculty and staff and outstanding graduates. The college aspires to build on its reputation to achieve extraordinary results in the areas of learning, research, technology, outreach, diversity and quality of life enrichment.
Scott joined the University of Nebraska Foundation in 2018 after 17 years of teaching and mentoring students at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology education and a master’s degree in education, both from UNK.
When you make a gift to the University of Nebraska Foundation you can trust that it will be used in the way in which it was intended. That’s a promise we’ve kept with our donors since our organization was founded in 1936.
