In 2022 UNMC and Nebraska Medicine recruited one of the foremost leaders in the treatment and research of pancreatic cancer, Sunil Hingorani, M.D., Ph.D, to lead its new Center of Excellence. Funds contributed to this fund will allow our team to rapidly pursue the most promising theories in research, to establish new clinical trials for patients, and to continue to recruit the most respected team of pancreatic cancer specialists to work side-by-side at the Fred & Pamela Buffet Cancer Center. The immediate and ever-present goal is to discover better ways to diagnose, treat and prevent pancreatic cancer…to stop this disease.
