The University of Nebraska is committed to making education accessible and affordable across our state — and this is more important now than ever before. Too many high school students believe college is not within their reach. The University of Nebraska is here to say — it is.

Nebraska Promise covers the cost of undergraduate tuition at any University of Nebraska campus for students who are Nebraska residents, meet academic qualifications and who qualify for a federal Pell Grant or have a family income of $60,000 or less. These students may not otherwise be able to afford an education.

Nebraska Promise represents a true collaboration. It’s only possible to support qualifying students because of the financial commitment from the state of Nebraska, the University of Nebraska and contributors such as you.
