The School of Allied Health Professions will host its first all-school reunion this July
About the SAHP Reunion
The School of Allied Health Professions will host the first all-school reunion on July 19-20, 2013. The program will include profession-specific events, continuing education, awards, lunch, and tours. The theme Allies Assemble, a play on the blockbuster movie, The Avengers. Healthcare professionals are real-life superheroes – they analyze, diagnose, restore, discover, and heal every day. Our diverse team of allied health professionals are not unlike The Avengers, coming together to save the world.
The SAHP Reunion will include the following professions: Clinical Laboratory Science (Celebrating the 75th anniversary of the program!), Clinical Perfusion Education, Cytotechnology, Medical Nutrition Education, Physical Therapy Physician Assistant, and Radiation Science Technology Education.
Allies Assemble Roster of Characters
Electromagnetic
Spectrum Man
Symbolizes all the radiation sciences – CT, CVIT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine,
Radiation Therapy, Radiography, and Sonography.
Primary Care Man
Represents the medical nutritionists, physical therapists, and physician assistants.
Laboratory Woman
Characterizes clinical laboratory scientists, clinical perfusionists, and cytotechnologists.
Awards
