George Ritchie and Quentin Faulkner Organ Fund

The George Ritchie and Quentin Faulkner Organ Fund was created to honor George and Quentin’s contribution to the program of organ at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL). George Ritchie has contributed to the organ profession in a number of significant ways, as a performer, teacher, author, and Bach scholar and is Professor of Organ Emeritus of the School of Music at UNL. Faulkner was Larson Professor of Organ and Music Theory/History (emeritus) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a writer of scholarly books in the areas of church music and J.S. Bach performance practice and an organ concert artist. He served on the faculty at UNL for 32 years. This fund shall be used for the care, refurbishment, maintenance, restoration, and/or installation of pipe organs under the oversight of the Glenn Korff School of Music, Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts, UNL.
