Beginning in 2018, the Trenchard Foundation, established by Husker alumnus Bob Trenchard in memory of his late wife, Barbara, and his late sons, Todd and Trey, will provide scholarships for Nebraska College Preparatory Academy graduates to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Professor, daughter bring attention to UNL students who face personal adversity

The Astir CASNR Emergency Student Aid Fund enables the college to help students who are at risk of disruption to their education because of financial hardship such as the loss of a parent, job loss or medical crisis.

Leadership gift enables university to prepare even more needed teachers for Nebraska

Thanks to a generous gift from the William and Ruth Scott Family Foundation, the University of Nebraska – the state’s largest producer of teachers – will be in an even stronger position to meet one of Nebraska’s most critical workforce needs.

The Ivanhoe Foundation supports future global leaders in water management through generous gift to the Daugherty Water for Food Global Institute

The gift will assist students committed to improving water and food security in developing countries.

University of Nebraska Foundation Giving Society

University of Nebraska Foundation Giving Society members directly influence the University of Nebraska and its stature as an institution dedicated to teaching, research, and service, strengthening the national and international reputation of the institution. Many programs would go unfunded or could not achieve the next level of excellence without support from these loyal individuals and organizations. 

It is our goal to make sure members of the Giving Society know how much we value their dedication and tremendous investment in the University of Nebraska. To offer our thanks and recognition, Giving Society members may receive a number of courtesies, including specialized digital communications, foundation and university publications, invitations to campus events and activities, as well as public recognition and acknowledgment at member events. 

Nebraska Circle

Distinguishing donors of $1 million or greater to any campus in cumulative outright giving, pledges and qualifying planned gifts.

President's Society

Honoring donors to any campus at $100,000 in cumulative outright giving.

Chancellor's Society

Recognizing donors to a specific campus at $50,000 in cumulative outright giving.

Burnett Society

Representing those friends and alumni who have documented an estate gift, or similar planned gift, with the foundation. 

Annual Leadership Society

Acknowledging cumulative giving of $1,000 or more during a calendar year to any fund or campus.
