Celebrating 75 years of giving

Seventy-five years ago – on June 3, 1936 – the University of Nebraska Foundation was born.

In 2011, we at the foundation will mark this major anniversary by looking back at the many milestones and by looking forward to many more years of connecting donors’ dreams and passions to the mission of the university.

And the unlimited possibilities.

Our staff will continue to work hard to reach the goals of the $1.2 billion Campaign for Nebraska: Unlimited Possibilities, the third major campaign in those 75 years. We will continue to celebrate the successes, especially the support for students that private donations provide.

We’re highlighting four stories from University of Nebraska graduates. They come from different campuses and different eras. But their stories share a common theme, one the foundation has heard again and again in talking with students over the 75 years.
