Department of Community and Regional Planning Development Fund

The Community and Regional Planning at the University of Nebraska is the only planning degree program in Nebraska. Nationally accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board, the program has a respected tradition of educating and graduating students who can facilitate positive change in the communities in which they are working.

CRP faculty continue to build and expand multi-disciplinary, academic connections within the University and externally create research, planning, and internships opportunities with nonprofit organizations and federal, state and local governments.

Their best practices from research projects continue to set the pace and project the future direction in the planning profession not only in Nebraska but nationally as governments and organizations adopt our emerging technologies.
