Every day, nearly a billion people in the world do not have enough safe and nutritious food to lead healthy and active lives. Many of them also lack access to enough clean water to meet their needs. By 2050, our global food demand will double to meet the needs of nearly 10 billion people, making water and food security one of the most urgent global challenges of our time.

Many companies provide matching gift programs that multiply their employees’ charitable donations. If you or your spouse are employed by a matching gift company, your contribution to the University of Nebraska Foundation could be significantly increased. Matching gifts are designated to the same campus, college and fund as the donor’s original gift. And matching gifts count toward the achievement of giving levels for the foundation’s Giving Society.
To obtain a matching gift from your employer, contact your human resources department. Complete the donor/employee part of the form and send it with your contribution to the University of Nebraska Foundation. We will complete the foundation’s portion of the form and return it to the company to initiate their fulfillment of the match.
Not sure if your company provides a matching gift program?
Contact your human resources department or search the Blackbaud Matching Gift database for information about participating matching gift companies.
If you have any questions about corporate matches and the foundation, please contact us or call 800-432-3216.
When you make a gift to the University of Nebraska Foundation you can trust that it will be used in the way in which it was intended. That’s a promise we’ve kept with our donors since our organization was founded in 1936.
