Support the School of Music

The UNO School of Music is committed to fostering a collaborative environment where students can explore a variety of opportunities in musical performance and education. Our innovative curriculum in fundamental music skills offers a solid foundation in theory, history and analysis. Students can put this knowledge to use while still in school, as part of on-campus and community performing groups. Based in a student-centered curriculum, we offer comprehensive undergraduate programs in music education, music performance, music technology and music entrepreneurship.

Each year, the School of Music enrolls more than 200 undergraduate and graduate students in the areas of vocal/choral, keyboard, string, brass, woodwind and percussion. Our students have performed with the Omaha Symphony, Opera Omaha, Omaha Performing Arts, Omaha Community Playhouse and a variety of arts venues throughout the city. Our international touring program has linked to the global community with students visiting Austria, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Lithuania and Mexico—just to name a few! We appreciate your support in providing our students with these important opportunities for growth and professional development.
