UNMC - College of Medicine - Technology Support

Technology Support

Technology Support

One component of a quality education is technology. The recently opened Sorrell Center for Health Science Education includes state-of-the-art classrooms, clinical skills and simulation centers and technology laboratories. These are critical – but expensive – items required to provide medical students with good training. Even gross anatomy, the foundation of every physician's training, now includes a computer at every dissection table. And the library, as a source of problem-based learning, supplemental lecture materials and simply satisfying curiosity, requires online, empirically validated and current sources. Private support is needed to continue to provide students with the technology needed for a top-rated education.
