Peter J. Hoagland Integrity in Public Service Lecture Series Fund

Peter J. Hoagland Integrity in Public Service Lecture Series Fund

This lecture series honors Peter Hoagland's legacy and seeks to inspire young people to dedicate themselves to public service. Each year's lecture will feature state and national leaders - leaders who prove that honor and integrity remain essential components in their service to our country. Our inaugural lecture in 2008, held at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, featured Nebraskan Ted Sorensen, a former speechwriter and counselor to President John F. Kennedy. In 2009, David Axelrod, adviser to President Obama during the 2008 election was the featured speaker. This annual lecture series will rotate between the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Please consider making a contribution to make this a nationally known and respected lecture series.
