Support the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture
The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) is a two-year public college of the University of Nebraska system first serving the students and people of Nebraska, but also the nation and the world. Since its founding in 1965, NCTA has evolved into a quality institution of higher education, committed to excellence in program offerings, responsive to a dynamically changing agricultural industry and aspirations of a diverse student population.
As an institution of higher learning, the mission of the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture is to serve the people of Nebraska by providing outstanding associate-level undergraduate experience in agriculture and related fields.
NCTA is committed to providing students with the preparation necessary to develop highly technical employable skills or to continue educational opportunities at a baccalaureate-granting university.
The mission of NCTA is enhanced by a symbiotic relationship between the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Coordinated scholarship, teaching and extension efforts contribute to the development of a highly skilled and educated workforce necessary to the economic well-being of Nebraska.
The objective of the educational program at NCTA is to develop an individual with the ability to provide enlightened judgment in professional, personal and social activities.
