UNK New Music Festival Fund

UNK New Music Festival Fund

The UNK New Music Festival, established in 2002, provides a venue for community exposure to recent contemporary classical music. It also provides a platform for UNK student composers to have their works performed and critiqued by active professionals.

Breaking down resistance to and building awareness of contemporary and experimental music is one of the goals Director Anthony Donofrio, Ph.D., has introduced over the past few years. Festival submissions have dramatically increased and concerts now are streamed online.
