Credits

On June 28th, 2013 the foundation launched the site you're visiting right now. Our team approached the new site with a simple goal -- to better promote the causes at the university by making a site that allowed us to tell stories, connect with alums and friends and to make it  easier to give to the university.

From beginning to end, nufoundation.org was a process. Initial hand-drawn sketches became wireframes, wireframes became mockups, mockups became templates, templates became pages which became the site you see now.

I think it's important to take the time to thank and give credit to all of the folks who helped to build this site from internal staff to vendors to interns.This was a really big project for an organization like ours and it required the hard work and effort from a lot of very talented people so thanks again to everyone involved.

The 42 - A digital agency based in Lincoln, NE. The 42 was responsible for the design and front-end development on the new site.

The NewBlk - A ad agency based in Omaha, NE. The NewBlk was responsible for video features on the new site.

ForgeLife - A technology firm based out of San Francisco, CA. ForgeLife helped customize a piece of software used to provide more personalized content to visitors on the site.

Don't forget our interns...

As a non-profit, we don't have unlimited staff and resources which ends up being wonderful for our intern program. Our student interns end up making a very big impact because they take on roles typically handled by full-time staff. It provides them with wonderful experience and first-hand knowledge.
