Women in IT Code Crush Fund

CodeCrush is an opportunity for girls to immerse themselves in the world of IT. Over four days, the UNO College of Information Science and Technology (IS&T) invites middle and high school girls to take a deeper look at IT through hands-on experiences in coding, bioinformatics, IT innovation, information assurance and mobile development.

After only three years, CodeCrush has seen its application pool rise nearly 200 percent, clearly showcasing the quality and need for such creative programs. To meet this growing demand, IS&T has teamed up with the University of Nebraska Foundation to raise $200,000 that will help expand and support CodeCrush. If this campaign succeeds, these funds will be matched by a $200,000 challenge grant provided by the Peter Kiewit Foundation. Together, this tremendous support will help CodeCrush double in size to two immersion programs per year and add a summer conference.

None of this would be possible without donors like you. By making a gift today, your support will help encourage girls to pursue their ambitions and give them the confidence to achieve their dreams. Join us.
