Carla Kilpatrick Memorial Breast Cancer Research Fund
In 2011, Carla Kilpatrick lost her long battle with Breast Cancer. She was a mother to many and a friend to everyone with whom she came in contact. Since the Summer of 2011 many of her friends and family members have gathered to play cornhole and raise money for breast cancer research and remember her enduring legacy. In 2016 more than 120 people again competed in the 5th annual Carla Kilpatrick Memorial Bags Tournament.
If you are unable to participate, we thank you for considering a gift to the Carla Kilpatrick Memorial Breast Cancer Research Fund in memory of Carla or in honor of another person who has battled breast cancer. One hundred percent of your donation will help fund life-saving research at the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center at the University of Nebraska Medical Center -- one of the country’s “Cancer Centers,” as designated by the National Cancer Institute. We are teaming up with some of the university’s and nation’s most innovative minds in science fighting this disease. Thank you!
