IQM Annual Support Fund

Help us share the history and art of quilting through education

At the International Quilt Museum, we are passionate about sharing the history and art of quilting with all who want to learn. Through workshops, classes and lectures, IQM strives to honor the work of individuals like Nebraska’s Mary Ghormley.

Mary was a talented quilter who won award ribbons for her quilts at the state fair and eventually began teaching classes in her home. She and her quilting friends created the Lincoln Quilters Guild and were instrumental in bringing one of the first nationwide quilt symposiums to Lincoln. Mary also played a significant role in the development of IQM.

Although she passed away in 2015, Mary’s impact on the quilting community lives on, particularly in Nebraska. Will you help us honor the legacy of great teachers like her with a gift to support IQM’s educational programs? Your gift will allow us to share this important history with the next generation of quilters and enthusiasts.

Thank you for your support of the International Quilt Museum. It is meaningful for so many and is greatly appreciated.
