Support UNK Student Life
With enrollment booming and more students living on campus, the university environment is vibrant, and activities and events abound. The staffs in the student life division are responsible for most of the co-curricular components of the student experience at UNK. They provide quality services, programs and facilities that enrich the educational experience of students. Their priority is to help students be academically, socially, mentally and physically successful while on campus.
The Division of Student Affairs at UNK is comprised of 9 departments: Academic Success (Peer tutoring, Disability Services, Learning Commons, Writing Center, Student Support Services), Academic and Career Services, Admissions, Counseling and Health Care (including Health Peer Educators, the Women’s Center), Financial Aid (including Veterans Affairs, Student Employment), Multicultural Affairs, Nebraskan Student Union (including Campus Activities, Spirit Squads, and Greek Life), Student Conduct, and Residential Life.
The mission of Student Life/Student Affairs is:
*Engage students early in their college experience to connect them to the University.
*Educate through programming that is student-centered, with an emphasis on personal growth, achievement and leadership development.
