The UNL Parents Fund is administered by the UNL Parents Association and the Division of Student Affairs. Gifts to this fund have been used to support a wide array of programs that enrich and improve student life.
For example, the UNL Parents Fund provided computers to Career Services to assist students with career aptitude testing and speeding their search for internships, summer employment and
job placement upon graduation. The fund also purchased computers for the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid to help students research scholarship and financial aid resources.
The UNL Parents Fund supports LeaderShape Nebraska, an intensive leadership development program for UNL students, and it supports student health and wellness initiatives through the University Health Center and the Campus Recreation Center.
Contributions to the UNL Parents Fund were recently used to create a student reading room during the renovation of Love Library, and gifts have been used to enhance the libraries' reference collections as well.
A gift to this fund supports enhancements to student services and improves the quality of life for UNL students.
Currently there are no other funds available for this area.
