The Department of Agricultural Economics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is committed to addressing the needs of Nebraska within a broad domain that includes agribusiness and food industry systems, community and economic development efforts, and natural resource and environmental issues.
The Department of Agricultural Economics’ mission related to undergraduate education is to,
engage students in active learning to ensure that upon graduation they possess communication skills, analytical tools, real world experiences and ability to learn related specialized skills. Students will demonstrate effective skills in problem solving and decision making in activities related to agriculture, business, community development, and natural resources, in both public and private spheres.
Gifts to this fund will go to purchase needed technology such as interactive presentation screens and Smarts Boards, projectors and screens, interactive control systems and audio and video equipment.
Gifts to this fund will ensure students pursuing the commodities trading option receive the education and hands-on experience they need for years to come.
Gifts to this fund will provide needed financial support for students interested in pursuing the commodities trading field.
A gift to this fund benefits and supports the general needs of the department, including awards for faculty, scholarships for students, grants for travel, and support for student activities and awards.
