The College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR) is home to 28 degree programs and two pre-professional programs. In fall of 2010, there are more students in CASNR than there have been since 1982. “The College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources has either been one or two in the last few years in terms of enrollment growth; one or two among all colleges across the university system. This is great news for CASNR, great news for the
university and great news for Nebraska” stated NU President J.B. Milliken during the halftime report at the October 7, 2010, football game.
Thanks to the generosity of donors over half of the current CASNR students receive scholarship assistance, the student organizations on campus are flourishing and more students have the opportunity to study abroad. Donor support also recognizes outstanding teachers and advisors.
