Support the Great Plains Art Museum

The Great Plains Art Museum opened in 1981 after receiving a generous gift from Dr. John and Elizabeth Christlieb of Bellevue, Nebraska. The Christleibs donated their valued collection of western art and library of western Americana to the center, and provided an endowment for the care and maintenance of the collection.

Since 1980, many generous people have helped enlarge the collection with additional gifts, including twentieth century Native American paintings and photographs from Patricia J. and Stanley H. Broder, the Chuck Guildner “Lives of Tradition” collection of western photographs, the Dwight Kirsch Collection, the collection of Great Plains art from Mark and Carol Moseman, the Richard Lane collection of western fiction and history, and the Regina Collection of Canadian plains literature.

Your contribution to support the Great Plains Art Museum will help enhance, expand and preserve the collection so these important works of art can be valued and appreciated for many years to come.
