Faculty Support

The merit of an educational institution is best measured by the quality of its faculty—those men and women who equip students with the skills they need to become critical thinkers in a changing world. Recruiting and retaining high-quality faculty members is imperative to strengthening these assets, both for the college and the university at large. Supporting endowed professorships will enhance the college’s research agenda, significantly impacting the culture and aspirations of the entire discipline. In addition, the Campaign for Nebraska will create an endowed professorship for faculty within the college whose primary focus is on advancing the excellence of teaching, through their own practical applications in the classroom and their research.
