Student Support

Recruiting and retaining the brightest and most talented students contributes to the vitality of the University of Nebraska. This has become an increasingly competitive activity. Rising costs and reduced state funding has made student financial aid the key to ensuring that all students have access to higher education.

Endowed scholarships and fellowships help address these vital needs. They encourage students to obtain their education and launch their careers in Nebraska by helping reduce their financial burden. The 2,500 engineering students in the University of Nebraska system are our state’s most precious resources and the leaders of tomorrow. Scholarship and fellowship dollars help keep these best and brightest students within the state.
