Support the Division of Rheumatology

The Division of Rheumatology and Immunology are international leaders in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases that affect the joints, connective tissues diseases, and autoimmune diseases. We are pursuing state of the art approaches in research, clinical care, and education programs in rheumatic diseases, with areas of expertise to include rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, Wegener's granulomatosis, gout, and systemic lupus erythematosis. Private donations have led to the founding of the Nebraska Arthritis Outcomes Research Center (NAORC), have directly supported the world renowned Rheumatoid Arthritis Investigational Network (RAIN), and have allowed us to lead research efforts devoted to improving the quality of life for our patients.

Rheumatoid Arthritis Investigational Network (RAIN) Fund

Private support allows RAIN to continue to set the standards for investigator initiated rather than pharmaceutical initiated trials in the United States. Private gifts to the RAIN Foundation will allow these endeavors to continue to pave the way in research, education, patient care, and help us to better understand and treat arthritis.

Rheumatology Development Fund

Private donations allow the Rheumatology Division to build upon our strengths and expand on our commitment to improve the health of the citizens of Nebraska through nationally recognized programs in clinical care, education of health care providers, and research that enhances the understanding, treatment and/or prevention of disease.
