The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is committed to the mission of delivering premier comprehensive women's outpatient health services in an environment created to meet the unique needs of women and of making distinctive strides in education, research, and service through innovative approaches to women's health issues.
A gift to this fund will help continue our program designed to provide sufficient longitudinal experience in the evaluation, diagnosis and management of gynecologic and obstetric conditions, to result in the emergence of independent, competent physicians.
The UNMC Department of Ob/Gyn’s Research team seeks to enhance our understanding of all aspects of the reproductive process in order to improve women’s health and reduce mortality. It is our hope that discoveries associated with these scientific pursuits will translate to innovative approaches to women’s health issues and ultimately improved care for women.

The Vibrant You Fund at the University of Nebraska Foundation supports important initiatives impacting women’s health. One way the funds will be used is to support training and education needs for medical students, residents, area physicians and nurses who are dedicated to women’s health.
