Teaching and learning takes place in classrooms, clinics, and the community. Our dental college has several patient-care programs that all have a particular focus on helping those in greatest need throughout our community and state: Children’s Dental Day, the SHARING Clinic, the Sealing Smiles program all give students eye-opening clinical experiences in a variety of settings. These experiences strengthen their clinical skills and reinforce the profession’s responsibility to provide care to patients with critical needs. Private gifts help make these programs possible.
This fund supports the college's annual day of dental care for underserved children.
he SHARING (Students’ Health Alliance Reaching Indigent Needy Groups) Clinic is a student-run, faculty-supported health resource for underserved residents in our area who desperately need oral health care services.
This fund supports the Dental Hygiene Department’s Sealant Program for underprivileged school children in Nebraska grade schools.
