As the media world continues to change at warp speed, it has become vital that journalism students know how to do it all: report, write, take photos, shoot and edit video, post to a website. Recognizing that fact, the college has combined its broadcast and news-editorial sequences into one sequence called journalism.
All students in journalism take a core group of courses, adding electives in broadcasting or news-editorial, depending on their interests and
preferences. The new combination means the college needs more still and video cameras, more video editing software and more computers to accommodate the students.
