Women Investing in Nebraska (WIN) has awarded more than $1.5 million in grants to University of Nebraska and Nebraska nonprofit projects since its first grant cycle in 2011-2012.

Operating in partnership with the University of Nebraska Foundation and the UNF Charitable Gift Fund, WIN members seek out bold, innovative projects addressing issues of importance to Nebraskans, making two annual grants through a member-driven vetting and voting process.

Members make gifts of $500, $1,200 or $2,400 a year, which are equally divided between the University of Nebraska and Nebraska nonprofit grants, with each member of record on June 30 having a vote for grant recipients. Membership is open to all friends and alumni of the university.

WIN activities educate, engage and empower women philanthropists interested in this collective giving opportunity.
