Native American Studies offers students an opportunity to learn about Native American Cultures - literature, history, arts, values, lifeways, spirituality, and social and political institutions. The program also has a long-standing tradition of activism on contemporary issues.
Native American Studies introduces students to the differences in perspectives between European-American and Native American cultures, including issues of communication across cultural boundaries of the past and present. Students gain genuine humanistic knowledge within a context of multicultural human experience.
A gift to this fund supports students by providing scholarships recognizing academic excellence and financial need.
