On May 4, 2008, Zachary passed away.
May 15 of 2008 would have marked one year since the soldier who served in Iraq arrived in Omaha and began advanced cancer treatment at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He was 26. One of Zachary's greatest desires was that his experience might advance the cause of cancer research. As of April, more than $400,000 has been raised. Every penny will go for cancer research.
Zachary's family is matching gifts to the Team Zachary Cancer Research fund up to $50,000. Please consider making a gift now.
