The student-centered program at the College of Pharmacy focuses on learning with defined outcomes. It emphasizes application of knowledge and development of professional skills, abilities and competencies. As a leader in pharmacy education, the college strives to improve the health of Nebraskans. It does this by providing premier educational programs, knowledge of the pharmaceutical sciences through research and scholarship, and by providing quality pharmaceutical services to
patients, health professionals and the community. The importance of private support for the College of Pharmacy has increased dramatically in recent years, and your gift has a significant effect on academics.
The College of Pharmacy Center for Drug Discovery is unique; no other academic medical center in the U.S. has a drug discovery program focused on infectious diseases. The Center will create national and international prominence for the College of Pharmacy, UNMC and Omaha; attract new faculty and students; and enhance links in Nebraska with other countries, such as India and China.
