The student-centered program at the College of Pharmacy focuses on learning with defined outcomes. It emphasizes application of knowledge and development of professional skills, abilities and competencies. As a leader in pharmacy education, the college strives to improve the health of Nebraskans. It does this by providing premier educational programs, knowledge of the pharmaceutical sciences through research and scholarship, and by providing quality pharmaceutical services to
patients, health professionals and the community. The importance of private support for the College of Pharmacy has increased dramatically in recent years, and your gift has a significant effect on academics.
Plans for the new College of Pharmacy building and integrated Center for Drug Discovery reflect the changing face of pharmacy education and health care. Updated technology will be featured throughout the building, and additional space will be available for teaching and research.
The White Coat ceremony symbolizes the student’s entry into a profession that will build their scientific knowledge, business acumen, problem solving capabilities and their passion and ability to provide pharmaceutical care for patients. Many times, students and alums develop longstanding connections through this sponsorship. Please consider sponsoring a white coat for only $100 each.
