Support the Cedar Point Biological Station

Located a mile down river from Lake McConaughy on the shore of Lake Ogallala, near Ogallala, Nebraska, Cedar Point Biological Station is positioned in an area of incredible biodiversity with many different habitats coming together.

Founded in 1975, Cedar Point Biological Station has grown from 33 leased acres to 600 owned by

the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Cedar Point Biological Station also manages the nearly 1,300-acre Arapaho Prairie, a gift from The Nature Conservancy.

Our unique program provides students the opportunity to use experience-based learning to be field biologists during their courses. Many top scientists from Nebraska and other parts of the world have been educated or conducted research at Cedar Point Biological Station.

Your contribution to support Cedar Point Biological Station will be used to maintain the infrastructure, perform land management and provide scholarships to those in need.
