The University of Nebraska State Museum is Nebraska's own premier museum of natural history. The State Museum collects, preserves and interprets objects and associated data through research about the natural world. The collections, with special interest in Nebraska and the northern Great Plains, are the basis of the university's archive of global, biological, cultural and geological diversity.
