Agriculture is a leading industry in Nebraska, with 25 percent of the state's work force employed in some part of the producer-to-consumer food chain. Your gift to the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources strengthens its mission to enhance this important industry and to provide quality teaching, research and outreach to all Nebraskans.
Paired with a friendly, close-knit environment and outstanding faculty, the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources prepares graduates for real-world challenges in agriculture. Scientists in the Agriculture Research Division work diligently to address the needs of farmers, ranchers, agribusinesses, state agencies and other stakeholders. Cooperative Extension Educators and Specialists disseminate these findings, along with programs directed at youth and families, through county offices and research and extension centers across the state.
