Support the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems

We offer two high-quality programs: 1) a solid Computer Science program for students interested in software development; and 2) the only Information Technology program in Nebraska for students who want careers in a variety of IT-related areas, such as system administration, computer security, web development, systems analysis, user support, database development, and more. Our programs prepare students to become professionals in IT careers that apply advanced computer systems technology to software development, operations and security requirements. We focus on inspiring, mentoring, challenging, educating, and empowering students, with an emphasis on understanding why and not just how. We are known for our hands-on approach to teaching software and system development, such as through the use of gaming, mobile applications, service-learning projects and robotics in our courses.
