The University of Nebraska State Museum has several branch museum sites, including Ashfall Fossil Beds State Historical Park near Royal, Nebraska, and the Trailside Museum at Fort Robinson near Crawford.
Spread throughout Nebraska, the museums offer Nebraskans and visitors alike a glimpse into our rich past. Ashfall Fossil Beds State Historical Park and the Trailside Museum host some of the best-preserved fossil rhinos, horses, camels and birds known anywhere. Together these museums allow the citizens of Nebraska to celebrate its longstanding and abounding history.
This fund supports the current and top priority needs at Ashfall, which includes developing an expansion to the existing rhino barn pavilion.
A gift to this fund provides much needed support for the general benefit and support of the museum's programs and exhibits.
The friends are dedicated to safeguarding all that the past has so abundantly provided and cultivating interest in all the future may hold.
There are currently no other funds available in this area.
