The press publishes excellent writers and scholars, including those of
our own university
system and fosters projects on the culture and
history of the state and of the West. It currently has influential
programs in Native studies, the history of the American West, literary
and cultural studies, music, and Jewish Studies.
The University of Nebraska Press is the second largest state university press in the nation, following only the University of California Press, in terms of titles published and is among the top 10 university presses in the nation in terms of annual sales volume.
